The Eddie Fullerton Lecture will take place on Saturday 27 August at 2pm in the Gateway Hotel Buncrana. This event which is being hosted as part of National Heritage Week in Donegal has been organised by the Fullerton Family in association with Donegal County Council to commemorate the 25th anniversary of his death.
The Lecture will include an address by Dr. Emmet O’Connor, Senior Lecturer in History at Ulster University, on ‘The Fortunes of the Irish Language’ and Dr. Breandán Mac Suibhne, Associate Professor of History, Centenary College, New Jersey on ‘The Depressed Urbanized Surplus of the Countryside’?: Derry City volunteers who fought in Donegal, 1920-21’.
